Welcome To Our Website - Where You Will Always Find Hope! :-)
Ever notice how some people can accomplish so much in one day? Have you ever wondered how they do it and if you could learn their process?
Time Management can be mastered by anyone but it is a very individualized process because everyone's thought processes are unique.
So the key is find the process that works for you.
As a result, we put out a variety of tips in order to cast a wide range of options so you can pick the one that works for you.
Did you say "Short-Cut Artist." That's me!!! I love my craft and I practice it everyday. :-)
People often ask me how I can keep my home looking so neat with everything in its proper place. I tell them it is easy!!! And now, I will share my simple secret with you.
It is called the 3 Second Scan. Every time I am about to leave a room I quickly scan it to see if there is anything that is suppose to be in another room. Then on my way to where I am going I will drop the item off to its proper home. If there is more than one item I will make a mental note of it for the next trip. Then when I am returning to my original location I do the same thing.
I often use the commercials as part of my daily exercise and cleaning time. It is fun to see how quickly you can return one item to where it belongs and make it back before the show begins. This is great exercise too because you are keeping your metabolism working, instead of constantly sitting, while watching TV.
This is also great fun if you have a family. You can have a race to see who gets back first or can put away the most items. You could even have a prize for the winner. The possibilities are endless!!!
So remember you can have it all - A neat home with everything in its place, with fun and laughter along the way!!!
I have always loved to create short cuts that allowed me to cut my work time in half. This gave me more time to pursue the important things in my life. Hopefully these tips will do the same for you! :-)
When cooking a meal there is always a lot of prep work. This includes shredding, chopping or mincing cheese, spices, herbs and so on. So when I am prepping a meal I always prep enough extra ingredients so I can fill a glass Mason jar to keep in the refrigerator for future meals. (You can determine the size of jar you use depending on the size of your family.)
I love shredded cheese on my eggs, bread, you name it! So when I shred cheese for a meal I always shred enough to fill a mini Mason jar. I choose a mini jar so the cheese does not get too packed down and to keep it fresh. This will usually last us about a week.
I love garlic and can eat a lot of it but not everyone in my family is the same. So depending on who I am cooking for I may not use the entire pearl of garlic. So, I will put the remainder in a baby glass jar ready for the next meal.
Parsley is a great digestive herb. I chop enough for the current meal and to put enough in a baby or small jar for future meals.
Onions are also great to store ahead of time. Green, white, yellow and/or red will ensure you have what you need for every meal. You can also mix and match to your hearts content.
Diced ham or chicken is great to put in scrambled eggs or omelets. You choose the size jar that fits your family’s needs.
Bone Broth is another favorite! We have chicken, lamb, beef and ham broths filled with spices and vegetables. Everything is made from scratch so there are no preservatives and so forth. We make a big batch and store it in mini Mason jars in the freezer. We take them out (when needed) and once they are defrosted we put them in the refrigerator. Bone broth is great to add to sauces, vegetables, stews or just have a cup. It is filled with nutrients, minerals and has numerous health benefits.
So next time you are shredding, chopping or mincing think about what you could use later in the week and chop a little extra. Every time you pull it out of the refrigerator you will smile realizing your meal is going to go that much quicker and you will have more time to enjoy the food with your loved ones. :-)
